M.A. DeAtley Construction is looking for a grade checker for a project in Roscoe, MT.  Qualified applicants must have a background in surveying, engineering or mathematics.  Must be able to read and understand plans.  Must be able to read and understand surveying notes.  Must be able to accurately slope stake cuts and fills.  Must be able to grade check for underground work.  Must have a working knowledge of surveying equipment and use of lasers.  Knowledge of the current GPS and LPS systems helpful, however we will train on these systems.  Must have own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Civil Construction Company is looking for 1 – 2 excavator operators to work at our 5 miles north of Roscoe – Roscoe MT project.  Wage range from $31.55 – $32.41. .

Job Purpose

To operate equipment safely and productively as instructed by project supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Must be able to operate excavator/backhoe and move material safely and productively.
  2. Must be able to clean the interior of the cab, windshield, mirrors and lights.
  3. Must be able to perform pre/post inspections.
  4. Must be able to communicate with other operators, drivers and supervisors via CB radio.
  5. Must be able to maintain situational awareness around other equipment and obstacles.
Qualifications

Must have 6-12 months construction experience

 

Working Conditions

Must be able to work in extreme, outside environmental conditions, while using proper environmental protective equipment.

  1. Dust, odors, fumes, gases, heat, cold

Must be able to work around loud noise, while wearing proper hearing protection

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit for periods of time while operating.

Must be able to kneel, crouch, reach, bend and stand for periods of time.

Must be able to walk in adverse conditions.

Must be able to lift 0 – 40 lbs occasionally.

Must be able to pull or push 0 – 40 lbs occasionally.

Must be able to pull/reach 49 +lbs rarely.

Civil Construction Company is hiring diesel mechanics for a project located in Pullman WA. Qualified applicants will have:

  • Proven success working as a heavy equipment (farm, industrial) mechanic, ideally with field experience.
  • Experience with CAT equipment repairs required.
  • A CDL is required; tanker and hazmat endorsement is highly preferred.
  • A current medical card and clean DMV record are required.
  • Computer/writing skills to complete logs and other paperwork is required. Experience using Caterpillar SIS and E.T. diagnostic software preferred.
  • Your own set of hand tools.
  • The ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Authorization to work permanently in the United States.

In addition to the above requirements, successful applicants will also be required to follow core competencies:

  • Outstanding troubleshooting skills with the ability to make repairs quickly when needed
  • Excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work anywhere in the Northwest during the construction season and may be in the shop in Clarkston WA during the winter months.
  • Team oriented and the ability to work effectively with a range of levels, titles and personalities.
